I like this photo because I took it in Amsterdam, and the cruiser

bicycle is one of many great metaphores for that city. However,

I'm concerned with a few things and I would like your input.

Mostly, what do you think about the blue tone and the contrast

around the bike? It doesn't really jump out at you. Anyway,

I would be tempted to darken the centre somewhat.

I like the idea of the picture, but I think it might have come out better if it was a bit darker. The leaves on the water/ice seem overexposed and I think the picture would have more of a "mystique" if the bicycle was less exposed. But I am sure it would be hard to light every part of this particular picture 'correctly'... I am just babbling :)

I wonder if this picture would be significantly improved with a polarizer. You could take away some of the reflection of the water that way.

This is pretty weak all the way around, from the blown out colors in the leaves, to the composition and also as to interest in general. Focus is about the only thing you nailed in this one.
