kimball_v._regier 0 Posted April 22, 2004 Testing new lights, always pushing the idea of a 'non-typical' portrait. All comments and critiques are welcome - Thanks. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 22, 2004 seems like the contrast could use some work? Good pose. Link to comment
max_salomon1 0 Posted April 22, 2004 I like the attitude of the face in this portrait...the framing helps accentuate that nicely...but on the techinique side...the image is very flat and gray. keep experimenting...try the opposite...a high contrast or "rim-light"...somthing to make this image "pop"... kimball_v._regier 0 Posted April 24, 2004 I think I should have explained better - I WANTED TO CREATE A LITTLE LESS TYPICAL PORTRAIT. I really like the effect of the blah lighting - I actually did that with PS, the origianl is quite well lit. I think that the pose and look on her face demanded a more unique lighting situation... more attitude, more current - aggresive darkness... anyway, I guess not everyone sees the world through my eyes. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Link to comment
russellfleming 0 Posted September 23, 2004 I want to just say again that there is a difference between being moody and being technically incorrect.. this image is technically incorrect. wether you like to be different in your style or not! Link to comment
