The lonely maiden
Cyanotype. Contact printed from my first 8x10 negative ever, shot on Sunday - what you see on screen is probably a bit smaller than the actual negative. These big negs are really something to look at!
The camera I used is a 100+ year old Seneca, fitted with a same vintage Rapid Rectilear lens. It's so old it doesn't use the current f/stop system, but the old American system. The RR lens design was patented in 1866 by Dallmeyer and was the standard high quality lens during the 1880-1890 both in Europe and the US. (Uploaded April 21, 2004)
