I feel that the tatoo and her hair doesn't fit in the pose. I'm sorry but for me the picture seems torn in two pieces (top and bottom)

 

I'd have to disagree with the above comment, however I do think it unfortunate that the crop is so tight - that aside, it's a fine photo

There is something in her pose, tones and glow on this photo....I don't know...I could just watch and watch...

I also would disagree with the first comment. I think this is an excellent photo. There's a story inside the image. What that story is is left up to the viewer of course. Yes the tatoo seems a bit out of place here, but then again maybe that's part of the story.

I like it. Perfect fit for the model.

Nice work, the tonal quality makes the figure transcend life into an icon of reflection.

The tones are superb, the softness works well and acts (for me) to juxtapose between the classical portrait and the not so classical model and pose you have here. Beautiful work, lovely model and a very nicely posed, photographed and presented piece of work. Regards Paul.

beautiful tones, she is a good model. the tattoo and the hair don't bother me, but I don't think the picture conveys what is implied behind resignation. For that theme it would probably be better if she is more contextualized in some environmental setting.

The tones on this picture caress my eyes. I could stare at the picture and wait for the girl to raise her head. I think tattoo and hair style go well together and are fine. Would like to see a different crop.

in regards to John Idler's comment at the top... why do they not fit the pose? because it's not likely that a girl with a tatto and dreadlocks can't wear a sundress and look sweet and pensive?? Silly notion... awesome shot!

Beautiful tonality. Lousy pose. The model looks like she is stopping to do her business.

 

As for the model herself I didn't care much for the Do and tat.
