pedja 1 Posted April 19, 2004 Yes, I know, it's not too original, but, anyway, do you like it? Link to comment
gilbert_fortier 0 Posted April 19, 2004 It's hard to be very original with this kind of shot, but your sky makes the difference. The colors and the clouds are the keys to success! The composition reminds me of one of mine, less spectacular and lacking a little sharpness, but with a little different result. The composition is simple but the best choices were made. Good job! doug_spice 0 Posted April 19, 2004 A very nice serene scene. I would like the sky a little brighter, particularly at the top of the frame. Also, I believe I can see sharpening artifacts on the tree's left side. Link to comment
nichols 0 Posted April 19, 2004 Gorgeous! Fantastic color and silhouette. Very well done indeed! Link to comment
vlad the hunter 0 Posted April 19, 2004 It is a nice photo but you have better in the same category. I would have to agree with you Predrag but we should not be to worry if the subject is not original. We would have lost many good shots. Link to comment
margaret_s. 0 Posted April 19, 2004 This is really gorgeous, Predrag. One of your best (that I've seen anyway). The colors are stunningly rich and beautiful and the 2 trees create wonderful perspective in what could've been a more 2-dimensional image. This is the sort of image I want to stare at to bring me back to a peaceful state of mind. Bravo!! :-) P.S. Thank you for the invitation to view. Link to comment
howard liu 0 Posted April 19, 2004 Beautiful sky! I love the saturated color and the warm tone. The 81C plays a good role here. It is a little bit (just a little) too dark to my taste, though. Link to comment
stp 6 Posted April 19, 2004 Very nice composition, and for me the exposure is right on. Link to comment
steve_patterson 0 Posted April 20, 2004 Pretty shot, and I like the repeating pattern of the two trees. Excellent colors. Link to comment
Dennis Newman 0 Posted April 20, 2004 Don't be so hard on yourself for a perceived lack of originality. This image leaps off the screen with a beautifully simple design and wonderful colors. I wish all my photos were so "unoriginal". Link to comment
guido_fulgenzi 0 Posted April 20, 2004 Beside the colors witch is certainly nice,I like in particular the two different scales of the trees,it's seems they challenge each other.Nice job! Link to comment
brandon hale 0 Posted April 20, 2004 I love the sky colors, I like the placement however the trees seem to me, to be to near the center of the fraim. I am just being pickey, It is a very nice image. I think I would have placed the large tree on the right side of the fraim and the smaller one on the left. So the larger tree is reaching into the center with its longer branches. peterfauland 0 Posted April 20, 2004 ... colors ! I love the sky and the two trees make it an outstanding photograph. The framing is also very pleasant for the eye. bye PeterPS.: Thanks for the invitation to comment on this beautiful photograph Link to comment
predrag_sudar 0 Posted April 20, 2004 Nice work, Excellent! Maybe sunsets are too exploited, but anyway it's only my opinion. However, I like colors on photo. Congrats! Link to comment
mmr 0 Posted April 20, 2004 Excellent! Very little room for improvement ;-)I think Andris' idea of a square cropping is worth a try. Regards, Martin Link to comment
thomas_turk 0 Posted April 21, 2004 I dont like it Predrag, I love it..for all the reasons stated by the reviewers..an extra ordinary photograph of an ordinary scene..for isnt that what we all try to do??? And you can ignore the big tree branches too near the middle rule that somebody made up..And your superior film result, BTW will surely outlast the TWO YEAR lifeof dreary digital stored on CDROM, as shown by the Dutch PC magazine, PC Active, and written up by the Independant Newspaper. UK. Reprint on rense.com FYI digi heads. under the title..The Myth of the 100 year CD ROM...Have to nip out and buy some more film..Bye TT Link to comment
