On a serious note: The expression on the face of the old man with the drums is definitely not passionate. Being the closest subject in view the eye would usually find him first. If you want to show the passion in any group protest your closest subject/subjects should look excited and animated.

It looks like a mao propaganda painting parody, don't you think so? The left woman looks like she is ready to jump in the sky as in HK kong fu movies, the center man looks like the funny friend of the hero...
