An interesting and compelling shot, although I can't say exactly why. :-) I don't typically like B&W pictures, but this one makes me wonder exactly what she's thinking, why she's alone and where she'll be in 20 years.

 

From a "technical" stand-point, the fact that her face is hideen, she's out of focus and there is nothing distracting in the background all help to focus attention on the girl and add to the feeling of "alone-ness".

Wow Teresa! This an amazing shot! I love all of your "alternative process" work, but this one... this has a kind of Sally Mann feeling to it. Would be interesting to hear more about your teqnique.
