one beautiful variation route to the summit of Mont Blanc.

i can't tell if this is a closeup or a landscape.. are those 2 people skiing? did you use a blue filter or polarizer? Indeed a photo that could be displayed 'right side up' or sideways or upside down.

A little confused, Sean. This is a close up shot by Telephoto lens, not cropped. There are 4 persons climbing the steep snow face. Please have a look by larger image. I will show you an other pic later in which you may find where it is. Thank you for comment.

I agree with Sean in that it is difficult to get a sense of scale here.

Sean, Eric, I uploaded another photo in which you can find the point. Close up shot was from a little higher position, after I finished this rocky ridge on Aiguille du Midi.

Congratulations on your mountain picures, Yasumasa. I am enjoying them. I've just a small concern about some bluish cast of the glaciers.

Sean, Eric, just in case, the "Cosmiques" ridge is the one you see at the left of this picture (larger versions here). The big rock of the picture above is also clearly seen. The cable car is the needle at the top of the "Aigulle du Midi", the highest point of that structure. If you are further interested, in this folder you can see what it looks like to climb up Mont Blanc du Tacul.

Wow! Salvatore. Were you sleeping there? By this photo, may be by super wide angle, Aiguille du Midi looks rather small but it's still cute. My photos are almost 20 years old and the color faded out in some frames. Sorry.
