I feel this photo like a painting. Only the lights are too bright. Good job.

What would you have done to make this picture better?

I think the focus is a little soft. If you want that painting affect, then you got it. If you wanted the softness, then you got it. But otherwise I think the focussing needs a little adjusting, whatever it was you focussed on (I assume the people). Otherwise its very dramatic lighting and you could do a lot there.

Nothing that hasn't been said before I'm afraid. It does seem soft. Is that from the lens, or some sort of manipulation?

Thanks for your comments. The soft focus was not intentional - it was a result of inexperience. I guess I was trying to focus on the arena, but wanted to include all the people out for their evening walk. I suppose maybe next time I should be more specific about what the subject of my photo is and focus on that.
