Tamara - The scope of this photo both from the composition and technical standpoints (IMHO) are superb! The spectrum from the fine detail of the denim to the lonely space of the background add to the incredible emotion of this photo.

How did you learn croatian and why? your name doesen't sounds like it comes from this tiny part of the world and I know that nobody learns croatian without the very good reason.

Ha ha... Well I was a secret opperative for the CIA and I was to be based in Split. I was put thru a crash course in the language and thrown into an unfamiliar surrounding... Not really :) ha ha Tergo is short for Trgovcic, my dad had it changed after realizing that nobody here in the U.S. could say that name. He also realized what a cool name his soon would have if he named him Johnny Tergo...

Hi Tamara, you have definetely defined recognizable style, which is very good sign,. I can tell without looking the name that this is your shot. Not too many photographers can say this about themselves. ( like when you look at the shot and you know it is David LaChapelle, or Liebowitz,..) This is great shot, with great theme,.. you should pursue your photography more,...

I use remote controle for selfportrait and I do all post editng on my own.

 

The photo was inspired by real emotion but is not

about anyone leaving or the end of relationship. The love " that is not here anymore" is about love that has changed and now is even stronger but I sometime miss that mad love from the begining of this relationship and I would give everything for just one more day.I hope I manage to explain it and that some of you know that feeling.

You gave your explanation yourself. I guess it´s not a typical female feel, which is only unknown by people, who had no relation to an other person for a longer period.
