Texas Bluebonnets

Taken on scenic FM390, in Washington County, Texas. Natural lighting,

Portra VC 160, about 20 min. before sunset.

Very nice composition & DoF; The colors are nice, but the image isn't as crisp as I'd like (most likely due to my monitor...).

E.R...Great shot! love the crisp focus on the subject and the blurred background it really makes him pop. Also love the lower angles of veiw

what a pleasant scene. i don't see things like that in the city.

 

i really like the lighting on the kid, it really shows the shape of his face, which gives the image a lot of character.

 

i'd like to see sharper focus on the subject, it looks a little blurred. i think that softness is okay in a shot like this, but the lack of sharp focus looks more like blur than just soft lighting.

May want to shrink it a little bit. Nice photo.

Sorry for any softness and file size. My negatives are still at the photo lab. This was scanned on an Epson 2400, from a small print.

Very cute. Well balanced colors (the clothing with the flowers.) The boy's expression is perfect here.

Excellent. The doubling of the blue (jeans & flowers) works very well with the green. Good choice of dof/aperture. Simply wonderful.
