marcus carlsson 0 Posted April 11, 2004 My first try with a different style. I want it to be blurred and harder contrast. What do you think? Have I succeeded? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 11, 2004 why looking up? Photo should give a clue. Or it should have some sort of internal rhythm. Link to comment
farmer on the hill 0 Posted April 11, 2004 Poor lighting and low contrast, also focasing depth of field is to shalow. Link to comment
marcus carlsson 0 Posted April 11, 2004 Doesn't anyone read the text that the photographer wrote below the image? I want it to be dark and out of focus. I don't want to make just another image that several others have taken already. What's the fun of that? Anyway I appreciate your comments since it's you - the audience which I'm asking for critique. silky jay 0 Posted April 13, 2004 you reached what you were trying to do. My thought is you should have more contrast between your subject and your background to make the subject stand out more. I love the angle of the pose it makes me ask wyo and i follow her profile. Link to comment
nef 0 Posted April 13, 2004 I like this. Great sensation of sensuality and very subtle. Link to comment
nick_hintze 0 Posted April 15, 2004 nice feeling. would like it more if the focus were on the face. Link to comment
kiwichris 4 Posted July 21, 2004 I find the dark shadow in the ear in this image to be distracting, espcially with the highlight on the top of the ear. Possibly keeping the low-key look, but with an additional softbox/fill nearer the camera, 2 or 3 stops lighter than the main light? The pose and point of view are different and initially eye-catching, but once you view the image full size there is no interest, for me it 'falls flat' a bit. Possibly because the models hair is hard up against the edges, I can't quite place it. Link to comment
