Taken in Prague on Charles bridge. 30 sec exposure @ f11 that is two

stops overexposure to suggested by the camera (ElanIIe) meter.

The exposure is fine because if you expose it for longer you will lose details in the bright areas. Though the right side of the photo appear to have a little bit of a building included? your composition will be better if you crop that out, because it distracts viewer's attention.

Nice shot. Not sure if the cropping is necessary on the right, it seems to frame the scene well for me. Must have been a nice long exposure; what must have been crowds of people walking in front of the camera have been reduced to mist.

 

Damn, I miss Europe.

Good idea to override your camera's settings and experiment for different effects. It worked well for you herethe sky and street are exposed perfectly, though the building looks a little to bright (harsh) in some areas. Wonder how 1/3- to 1/2-stop less exposure would look.
