Beautiful weather and the red fence

Do the color and composition make you nervous?

This was meant to show the fine weather in London, though.

I like the composition, the boldness of the color and the repetitvness of the fence. Background is a bit distracting

I think this was a good start for this subject matter, but it needs more. I agree that the background is distracting. If an angle was/is available that limited the view to fence and sky -- and if there were a few more white clouds in the blue sky -- you might get a more punchy result. As I imagine what might be possible, I think of something sort of echoing the Union Jack - red, white, blue as colors, and diagonals as your graphical elements.

I love the colors and I understand why you took the shot. I've been reading a lot about the color red in photography and must admit that I've been on a "red kick" lately, so the photo satisfies that part of me, but like the other folks have mentioned, the background is a bit distracting and it doesn't seem as sharp as it could be.
