Dunottar Cstle v2

This is Dunottar Castle again I am particularly eager to canvas

peoples opinions as to whether they prefer this black and white split

toned version or the previously downloaded colour version. I have my

own personal preferences.

Great lighting. I think the composition would be stronger with the about the lower 1/2 to 1/3 cropped out.

Your medium format colour photos are so lovely to look at that I wonder why you would even think of going B/W.... This photo would have been "quite good" in the 1950's, but it is pitiful against the colour version.

Crikey that told me didn't it. I take it my colour work is more higly regarded.

Like the one with the saturated colors better. (But this is great, too!)

Agree that your colour pics are superb, but I prefer a simple quadtone to the presented version. I like this image now.
