vsuley 0 Posted April 7, 2004 I am a beginner and would really appreciate if anyone would take some time out to post a few comments on this photo. The scanning quality is quite poor, I hope this will do. Link to comment
f28 0 Posted November 9, 2004 When I glanced at your photos, this is the one that stood out and made me want to see it full-size. It's a very nice photo. I noticed you said this was an eight-second shot. It was wise of you to start when the seconds were at :00 so that you have no afterimages of the zero if it had ended, say at :13. I also like the way the action is all in front of the subject; no images are past him or close to the the lens. Now for what I don't like...the two men on the right who are in almost perfect focus bother me. That also leads the eye to the people standing in line. All of those people take away from the drama/point you were trying to make. I think if you crop them out, it would be a stunning shot. I would crop just past the edge of the clock. Try that & let me know what you think. Good job! Link to comment
jlynn 0 Posted December 7, 2004 I totally agree. The new crop you posted is a lot more effective than the original with those 2 guys cropped out. I love the idea you have though, and the picture turned out great at 8 seconds. Link to comment
oswegophoto 1 Posted February 10, 2005 I agree: this was pretty well done. Erica's crop improves it; funny how hard it is to see what needs to be left out. Link to comment
oasim 0 Posted June 18, 2006 this shot is a amazing just love the stand still pose and everything moving arround just amazing and BTW I agree with the crop cause the two guys over there are still too and I think this may ruin a bit the idea :) Link to comment
taffyjohnson 0 Posted June 23, 2006 vinayak the concept and the framing is wonderful . but your subject is not in focus or atleast does not look like it is. cheers Taffy Link to comment
