Iwo Jima Statue, covered in a lighly blown new snow.

This image was taken about 1AM right after a light D.C. snow in December 2000. The snow created an interesting contrast with the texture of the bronze statue.

I tried to capture the flag in motion in the same position as the original photo of the actual event .... it's pretty close.
