This looks like the quintessetnial stock photograph of expressway traffic. (Whether that is good or bad is up to you.) If you want to convey the idea of speed, I'd recommend cropping out the barren tree (branches) at the left of the frame. They only slow the image down.

that sounds like a good idea tony. only one problem, those great twin towers will no longer be there.

as a native new yorker I can't believe that tomorrow morning when I look out my window, the towers will not be there. I will never forget the many sunday afternoons as I kid I visited the WTC with my folks.
