raghu 0 Posted July 15, 2001 This is a statue outside of my city's public library. It is much photographed and therefore, it is a bit of a challenge to find an original shot. What do you folks think of this composition? Also, please check out the other photos in my portfolio and crtique them. Thanks! Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted July 24, 2001 'Fess up Raghu, this is a set up photo isn't it? The look on the girl's face tells me she's in on the joke. Regardless, a nice shot showing an active imagination. It would have been improved, in my opinion, with softer, lower contrast light for more detail in the statue but on cloudless day I guess we just have to seize the moment. One 'attaboy' for you. Sorry Ira. Best, LM. Link to comment
keith_jorgensen 0 Posted July 27, 2001 makes no difference. A picture of the statue alone would have been a record of someone else's artwork. The addition of the young woman makes it your artwork. It's clever, which makes it a fun picture and I enjoyed seeing it. Nicely done. Link to comment
