michael_alexander3 0 Posted July 12, 2001 I cropped this from a slightly larger picture. Do you think I over- cropped it? The top of the animal is over-exposed, but the eye seems exposed correctly. Link to comment
sherm 0 Posted July 12, 2001 Even though you did blow portions of it out, they are small portions, and the photo still works. I like it. Link to comment
calloway 0 Posted July 12, 2001 I think you cropped the picture just a bit too tightly. All it needs is a little more space on the left side, moving the komodo dragon's nose away from the edge and showing more of the nicely blurred background. As for the washed out top scales of the dragon... If the detail is there on the original, you definitely should try to bring it out. You may want to consider darkening the whole picture and then dodging the eye to preserve detail there. Regardless, a good picture. Link to comment
jayson_cardwell 0 Posted July 12, 2001 Very nice, if you have a personal problem with the cropping you could always crop it closer and focus on the eye alone. You have enough detail to support that as an individual picture in itself. Link to comment
