arctic monkey 0 Posted November 16, 2004 I don't care for the frame so much. You've done a good job matching colors (frame blue, to blue in pic) but I just don't think it's a good color for a frame. But you must consider that I'm not a big fan of framing these posted pics. To frame or not to frame, if yes than natural materials are my preference (in case you were curious!). The photos you take of the places you've explored make me want to go too. Link to comment
fabiangraham 0 Posted November 16, 2004 Thanks Jason. I have to agree with you on this one. In general however, I think a thin black frame works well. A frame helps you focus your attention on whatever is inside it. That is why if you go to an art gallery, most pictures are framed. Thanks for your comment though. Maybe I will do this photo again unframed. Thanks for taking the time to write a comment.....If this weekend I re-do this picture frameless, maybe you would care to give it a rating. arctic monkey 0 Posted November 17, 2004 I always get so caught up in trying to write a comment that contains some sort of helpful purpose that I forget to rate. I agree with the intention of frames, I guess I just needed to be reminded of their purpose! Once again, I'm forgetful. I'm looking at this one with the re-surfaced knowledge and have accepted the frame, it's good! I do remember asking you how to go about making the frames but haven't noticed if you replied.
