oscar1 0 Posted March 30, 2004 An old tecno-pop times hero, John Foxx, returned to the stage with a lot of energy, which I tried to show in the picture. What do you think about? Link to comment
kelwyn 0 Posted March 30, 2004 Good picture... I think it could stand to lose a little of the headroom, but you'd have to add some more in at the bottom to keep a sense of balance in it, so I'm not sure if that would work. I might not mind it so much if you were to burn in the beams of light just a hair in the upper right portion of the photo. As a stage lighting designer, I'm trying to figure out what the LD on this show was thinking. I find it odd that there is no down or back lights to pull him out of the background, except for over the subject's left shoulder. How close were you to take this shot? I'm guessing it was a very small venue, but I'd like to hear from someone that was there. Again, I realize that the stage lighting was nothing you could control, and this is a fantastic exposure given what you had to work with. Link to comment
oscar1 0 Posted March 30, 2004 Hi, Brian, yes I was in the first row in the concert and the dance hall had a capacity of 1.000 people, more or less. The light pattern you see in his face was moving in circles. Link to comment
