Shot with my friends Sony F717. ISO 100, F8. Converted to B/W and pulled through natural colors of the flower. Thoughts and comments greatly appreciated.

This has a very peaceful mood to it. What is the thing on her head? This would be great with out that, but it is very nice. chris

Thanks so much Pete! We have great looking kids eh? :-)

The thing on her head is a bow. Moms love putting matching bows in their daughters hair. :-) I suppose I could edit it out?

Wery nice, one of the best children portraits I have seen. Crop, tonality and leaving the color in the flower makes it a top picture.

Joe,

Don't get your panties in a bunch because i think your photos suck! you have a real rage issue. it's just one guys opinion. maybe you didn't notice that i gave many, many other photos great ratings, none of which were yours by the way. Also, i happen to agree with you on my photos, they are nothing special, and i didn't expect them to be. I actually just carry my camera around taking snapshots of whatever i think looks cool. I'm not trying to be some full of crap artsy photographer(i'm talking about you joe) who's overly sensetive about some pictures of a sunset. You Joe, are a loser who needs to become a man, and stop crying about some pictures some guy(me) doesn't like. The people on this site can love my photos or they can print them out and take a dump on them. I DON'T CARE!

Kind Regards

Allen, I know you'd like to think I care about your opinion enough to say that I have a "rage issue" which is extremely funny. My comment to you was that your rating system was moronic. I think I even said it much nicer than that. I then even took the time to give you detailed critiques on your own self-degraded work. I don't care about ratings. I care only about improving my work. I coul dcare less if you rated a picture 1/1. you missed the whole point ALLEN MILLER (little self aggrandizement there don't you think?). Rate whatever the heck you want but if you are going to say something is a 1/1, then BACK IT UP with a good critique. Your photos do suck (well, one of them had potential and even the dad photo had some character.) but atleast when I gave yo a rating consitant with your rating scale, I took the time to give an opinion. It's just an opinion and you can toss it if you like but at least it's excercising common courtesy.

My bottom line recommendation for you was to quit being a jerk.

I hate to go back to the photo. I can now see it is a bow. I thought, at first that it was a flower from the tree above, or something. Peter, you're right, I don't have a daughter, very good deduction ;o) like I said, I really like this phot, but I wish the bow looked more like a bow. Very nice though. chris

Allen, you're an idiot. I've seen your rating system and you consistantly prove the old saying, "It's better to be thought an idiot than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."

Great photo. This is wonderfull. Nice tones and I love the coloring of the flower. Glad it is the original colors and not a colorized tone.
