Sandhill Cranes under the last rays of sun

suman

It was on eof my better shots. The wooden bridge was shaking like spring with all the people waiting and watching the cranes and that was not really good for even the best tripod as the whole system was shaking. Anyway, I got this one with EF 75-300mm lens, at 300mm focal length, stopped down to f8.0. Kodak Ektachrome 100. Scanned by a crap HP flatbed and retouched in PS. Please comment if you like it or not.

Sandhill Cranes. It was the end of the day and the cranes were coming

back to the river bed. I love the color of the setting sun scattered

over the cloud bed.

This is really neat, but the bird with his head cut off in the brightest part of the shot needs to be taken out in my opinion.

Beautiful shot and fantastic color. Nice photograph, congratulation! Though the dose of color appears a little heavy and the birds seem helpless in this background.
