herbert fernandes 0 Posted March 29, 2004 Superb shot. lovely reflections.. (I can see from where you took this pic you were either in the water knee deep or hopefully in a boat).. I love the composition too. Link to comment
sean fyfe 0 Posted March 29, 2004 where was this taken? what a great view :) IMO the only thing i would have maybe done differently is a longer exposure to smooth out the water Link to comment
mm1664877714 0 Posted March 29, 2004 beautiful picture, great eyes in capturing this image Link to comment
johnorban 0 Posted March 30, 2004 Superb composition based upon repetition of form and reflection. I think I would enjoy it even more if it were not presented in such a long and narrow format. Link to comment
glenn_smith1 0 Posted March 30, 2004 having been there several times in the past, I never pictured it as a beautiful place and I don't think it is, but your photo makes it look like it is. well done Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted March 30, 2004 Smashing shot, Chris. IMO the water is fine with ripples. Link to comment
robert goldstein 0 Posted March 31, 2004 Although this photo is very striking and very well composed, it suffers from flat lighting. Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted March 31, 2004 And I love that "flat" lighting you have achieved!!.:-)I would readily pay to get such beautiful "flat" light in every one of my castle's shots! Link to comment
robert goldstein 0 Posted March 31, 2004 Regarding the lighting in this photo, it is neither misty nor moody, which would be fine, just flat. I would prefer soft sunlight from an oblique angle on the front of the viaduct. Just my opinion. Link to comment
jay_brewerton 0 Posted April 1, 2004 I think you have done a fantastic job of capturing this, You could not have captured a more perfect reflection, I used to live just up the road form here, and it brought back fond memories viewing this Link to comment
