Guest Guest Posted March 29, 2004 What I especially like about this is the attention to basic photographic values -- composition, lighting -- though it would make nearly "perfect sense" if it weren't a totally cloudy sky. And, it's creative without pretending to be any more than what it is! Link to comment
fun bülow 0 Posted March 29, 2004 Fedt stykke arbejde ....!!

brendan_turner1 0 Posted March 30, 2004 " I believe that for his escape, he took advantage of a flock of migrating birds" Antoine de Saint Exupery. The sand dunes, the flowers, the tree (is it a baobab? it sort of looks like one) If this isn't inspired directly by The Little Prince (Der Kliene Prinz), you've got some bizzare gift for comming up with exactly the same ideas as St. Ex! I like it all, but to be a nit picker, the clouds comming over top of the sand dune to the left of the tree are a bit distracting...sorry but minus one point for that... 6/7 Link to comment
seb_baltyn 0 Posted March 30, 2004 Nice work. This image has a very similar concept to one by artist Robert Parkeharrison entitled "Flying Lessons". U can view his work at http://www.parkeharrison.com ...Regards, seb. Link to comment
melissa_w.___arizona_calif 0 Posted March 30, 2004 This is such a cool photo! I would hang a print of this in my home. I think this is one of my favorites I have seen on this site. Great Job!!! Link to comment
arnab chakrabarti 0 Posted March 30, 2004 I like most of your pictures. Same goes for this. However, I have a suggestion. The man's posture reminds me of parasailing. But evidently, he is flying, and when he flies, isn't he more likely to look like one of the depictions of the 'fall of Icarus'? Link to comment
www.whitemountainphoto.com 0 Posted March 30, 2004 Terrific composite, and excellent details to shadow and lighting. Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted March 30, 2004 The more I see this 'kind of pictures', the more I want to learn how to make this. Link to comment
scott_hafner1 0 Posted March 30, 2004 Really love it. Photo montages usually leave me cold, this one just draws you in. Many interesting elements but not overdone. Very nice work with the shadows. Link to comment
