www.ianleake.com 0 Posted March 29, 2004 Hi Selina, I like both your studies of this building. The other is initially more appealing to me, but I keep coming back to this one. Perhaps the unconventional angle and perspective are a bit more challenging and so more interesting. It's a shame you've just clipped the edge of the curve on the right hand side because this interrupts the flow of my eye around the curves. But this is still a very good image. Link to comment
selina_xu 0 Posted March 29, 2004 Thanks Ian. When taking this shot, I was unable to fill the full frame with all the curves by using the conventional compositions and that's why I chose such angle. Yes, I didn't notice the cut-off on the far right of the curve until I downloaded it. It is a pitty. I am going to go back and try again next time. It is a weird angle, but somehow as you said I found that more interesting than the normal horizontal or vertical composition. Link to comment
g.wedemeyer 0 Posted March 30, 2004 Great spectrum of tones, and the shapes are very effective. Link to comment
