Mesa Arch sure is popular with photographers. I shot it,. Morey Kitzman shot it. You shot it. And over the last few years I'm sure dozens of others did too. But they all look a little different. I like your angle. It's different, but refreshing. Nice work.

...this one is definitely unique. I like your use of wide angle, the lighting, and the overall color contrast between the blue sky and the warm earth color. Well done.

Seems to lack the ultimate sunlit brilliance that this well composed, superbly perspectived shot cries out for..How did it look before u messed around with it on the computor??? To have resorted to that manipulation, from a velvia 50, indicates, to me at least, you were not 100% happy with the result.. Could it be the color coatings of the optic?? If so, maybe that is the reason, as expressed on the contax forums, why so many canonites become zeussites.

Kenneth, It's a shame the all of the masters never got their shots right. They all had to dodge and burn, make some adjustments in the dark room too. So I guess you are in great company. Well done photograph.

I rather like Ken's variation of this classic location. Well done! In terms of the Zeiss versus Canon comment made above, get real. The effects of the warming polarizer in a shot like this will far outweigh the subtle differences that exist between Zeiss and Canon glass. I know, I've shot, Zeiss, Canon and Pentax glass side by side on cameras for over 30 years.
