I have the slide sitting on my light box beside me. To the best I am able the colours on the slide matches that on the screen. I used a polariser and Velvia film. Although the shadows render very blue (same as on the original slide) I personally prefer that to diluting the sky colour with a warm up filter

Great scene Ian. Shadows can be taken care of separately in the image editing software without changing the sky.

Not unbelievable colors, Marco, just Velvia stepped down a litle. I would have preferred a little more stepping down, at least one more stop, well, and why not, even 2 more stops down, to give more contrast, a bit darker shadow and darker blue sky, for balance, drama and harmony. The whites throughout would then be really highlighted. That would make this extra ordinary. Did u bracket, Ian?? Thank you Ian for bringing such high standards to PN..
