I really like the restricted colour palette, and how the tones of the stone show up in the light and shadow. I like the composition as it is (except maybe if you had the moment again, to have the whole crest in shot). But you could also use just the left had side, and that would be beautiful, too....!

Yes,I can see definitely here 2 potentially good photos. I would love to see that door on the right, with that crest above and cropped a little below the door.

There is a slight blue shade very typical of photos taken in shadow....but overall a good photo

Sure you could crop this into two photos, but why bother when this one is so strong? What I love about this photo is that the solitude is so strong is almost aching. You got this with no people, autos or glaring reminders of modern society, which is refreshing. I like the photo as is. Ben fatto, Cristina!

But i meant that you could have 2 Good photos

even if they where shot apart.

The image works fine the way it is as it has "depth" by mean of staircase, arch, and the diminishing alley way in background. However, additional sujbect walking to or from would have even been better. I wouldn't personally cut the image into 2 myself. Cheers!

The very first reveiwer says you need people or action; this works BECAUSE here is no action. The sense of a deserted place fits with the tones and the appearance of age and dust.
