Raisanen 0 Posted March 27, 2004 Yes, I agree with Doug. This photo is good in this way. It will be better if you take a new differently cropped picture with your and Maria's dogs. And lets analyse that later! Ciao, Ilkka Link to comment

heather_stark 0 Posted March 27, 2004 I really like the restricted colour palette, and how the tones of the stone show up in the light and shadow. I like the composition as it is (except maybe if you had the moment again, to have the whole crest in shot). But you could also use just the left had side, and that would be beautiful, too....! pnital 36 Posted March 27, 2004 Cristina, very good composition. I like the light at the end of the photo, and the quiet atmospher it is presenting. Pnina Link to comment
tony georgiadis 0 Posted March 27, 2004 Yes,I can see definitely here 2 potentially good photos. I would love to see that door on the right, with that crest above and cropped a little below the door. There is a slight blue shade very typical of photos taken in shadow....but overall a good photo Congratulations. Link to comment
maria_di_liegro 0 Posted March 27, 2004 Sure you could crop this into two photos, but why bother when this one is so strong? What I love about this photo is that the solitude is so strong is almost aching. You got this with no people, autos or glaring reminders of modern society, which is refreshing. I like the photo as is. Ben fatto, Cristina! Link to comment
cristina_fumi 0 Posted March 27, 2004 for those who wanted to see the full emblem, I've posted a vertical shot! Thanks everybody for comments and ratings! Link to comment
tony georgiadis 0 Posted March 27, 2004 Maria I didn't mean crop this photo in two.But i meant that you could have 2 Good photoseven if they where shot apart. Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted March 27, 2004 The image works fine the way it is as it has "depth" by mean of staircase, arch, and the diminishing alley way in background. However, additional sujbect walking to or from would have even been better. I wouldn't personally cut the image into 2 myself. Cheers! Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted April 8, 2004 I think this photo is all a photo should be, Mr. Stuartson can go to hell! regards, -Jim Link to comment
adaml 0 Posted March 2, 2008 The very first reveiwer says you need people or action; this works BECAUSE here is no action. The sense of a deserted place fits with the tones and the appearance of age and dust. Link to comment
fabrybiker 0 Posted March 2, 2008 bella inquadratura da ritorno al passato con un'ottima distribuzione della luce manca solo uno scudiero che sfreccia e sarebbe stata perfetta! Scherzo 蠤avvero bella cosi ciao Fabrizio Link to comment
