Living Fast

Wow! Very good shot!

I'm looking for honest critiques to improve upon my relatively new

skills in photography. This was at an indoor rodeo with fairly low

lighting. Thanks!

This is a difficult shot to critique simply because it is a fast moving action shot! I get the feeling it is the best of a series of photos you took on that day! (I have not checked your portfolio ...... yet!) You have caught the rider well here and the feeling of what is going on is portrayed excellently! For me, the photo would be better if you could see the expression on the rider's face. I appreciate you may not have got that chance!

horse face would be completing the moment.

As in all sports shots the moment is the hardest thing to catch. Good compostion great action. Is the bull or horses head in the original?

Thanks for the words. Unfortunately, the bronc was approaching me at the fence at an amazingly fast rate to that's how I got so close up with the view.
