Watering the tree

WOW!, Thats interesting. I would guess that this is recently been done by the fresh color of the hydrant, the trimmed tree branches, and the barren dirt beneath. i wonder what this shot would look like with flowers or grass or bushes underneath the tree. probably not as interesting, as the hydrant would be lost in them. Beautiful color on the sky as well, was this altered?

Yeh, this was taken recently, and no the sky hasn't been altered. It was a very very great day that day!

I like the colours and the composition here.

The colors are very rich and deep, and the Composition of this piece is just phenomenal. The way you lined up the trunk of the tree with the corner of the building in the background makes the photo's subject more centered and more concrete. I love the deep blue color of the sky and the bright red color of the hydrant. I love the way that the windows have a hint of reflection, making you wonder what is out on the left side of the photo, and the shadow of the tree leads you out on the right, to make you wonder what this gorgeous setting is really like. GREAT JOB!
