Adele

This was one of a series of ten very different shots.

I like the mood you have here, but not sure what the partial vignette is from. Nice job on this.

This is a beautiful portrait. Adele is a good model, with a lovely expression. Will you be posting the rest of the series ?

i can't decide if her expression works perfectly with the lighting or if the lighting works perfectly with her expression. either way, it is a beautiful portrait.

 

i'm guessing that the vignetting in the upper left corner is just the edge of the circle of light from a studio light. i think it works well to frame the image, i almost wish that there was also one on the right side.

The model was lit with a large softbox from the left, leaving the far side to fall into shadow. Although the background was lit separately, some further vignetting was done in photoshop to give a more pleasing shape to the shadow area.
