I like this shot but I am a bit distracted by the shadow in the bottom right. If you cropped off the bottom just above it you might need to crop off a bit of the sky at top to balance. I like the dark sky, it is a good effect. Still good shot!

Yes no tripod allowed... the people of Acoma are vigilant. I got a few nice shots anyway though. Sometimes I think tripods are over-rated...

Very dramatic shot.. I like the way you set the latter juxtapose to the center of the cloud formation.... very cool, original, and beautiful shot. Looking at the sky though how did you get the clouds to pop like that? Were you using a polarizer at all?

Thank You Norman! Yes a polarizer here. I actually overdid it a bit and had to lighten the blue in the sky... Glad you like :)

Thanks J Montgomery! I thought this one was better than the rock formation but the judge liked that one better. Must have been the too much dirt and shadows at the bottom in this, I figure.
