eric_rose3 0 Posted March 23, 2004 I like this shot but I am a bit distracted by the shadow in the bottom right. If you cropped off the bottom just above it you might need to crop off a bit of the sky at top to balance. I like the dark sky, it is a good effect. Still good shot! Link to comment
osvaldo carbuccia 0 Posted April 24, 2004 I love the contrast and the deep blue sky in this picture.(also, thanks for viewing my picture and comment it). Link to comment
bekster 0 Posted April 24, 2004 Thanks, Osvaldo Carbuccia! Your portfolio is a beautiful intimate portrait of the place where you live. I am in awe... Link to comment
bekster 0 Posted June 18, 2004 Yes no tripod allowed... the people of Acoma are vigilant. I got a few nice shots anyway though. Sometimes I think tripods are over-rated... Link to comment
f1-fanatic 0 Posted July 17, 2004 Very dramatic shot.. I like the way you set the latter juxtapose to the center of the cloud formation.... very cool, original, and beautiful shot. Looking at the sky though how did you get the clouds to pop like that? Were you using a polarizer at all? Link to comment
bekster 0 Posted July 17, 2004 Thank You Norman! Yes a polarizer here. I actually overdid it a bit and had to lighten the blue in the sky... Glad you like :) Link to comment
jmontgomery 0 Posted July 20, 2004 I guess I'm been working too hard this week ... I have missed some really great shots when they were posted! Love your whole folder on NM! Link to comment
bekster 0 Posted July 20, 2004 Thanks J Montgomery! I thought this one was better than the rock formation but the judge liked that one better. Must have been the too much dirt and shadows at the bottom in this, I figure. Link to comment
