anarch_ima 0 Posted March 21, 2004 I think there's too much shadow on his face. That might be ok if the surroundings were a little more conducive to what you're trying to do, but as it is now the composition seems a little messy. Also, the car in the back doesn't exactly scream China Town at me. It might be helpful to reduce the number of elements and just focus on a few things - or even just one thing. Link to comment
jennifercatron 9 Posted March 21, 2004 It's fun to find these little scenarios around town. Its very easy to overlook some of the best shots. It's too bad that you had so many people between you and the man, but it gives it a different feeling with them there so se la vi. Link to comment
adrianhinojosa 0 Posted March 21, 2004 The dark image and shadowy figure establish a mood but the timing is off so the forground and backround seem distracting. There was potential for creating a diagnal but having the eye to get it all lined up would require some skill and luck. If you imagine the 2 people in the forground being more towards the bottom right hand corner with a little more space from the subject then you will see this was very close to being a very good street shot. Timing always seems to be the hardest part of photography. Link to comment
