At least I know this building.....always reminds me of an insect with it's 2 antennae sticking out on each side. The purple looks fantastic and I reckon it would look a little too scary in yellows and oranges.

Roger, the effect with the image is marvelous. Only the bleed of the lower right part of the frame detracts for me. - best, Gary

Funny, I choose that colour which is bleeding out under the frame, sort of like a glow...But hey, we are not here to please everyone, and I thank you for your words, indeed !*R*

Getting the three choppers up with the lights, easy, but dealing with the extention leads ! Worth it in the end, hey, swell poster eh ? Now where is that last piece of pizza......! *R*

Really different for you. I like the effect. Seems that the country boy from Oz was really impressed by the big city .

Town.....hummmm ! I can take it or leave it really....fun at times but for the most part, a pain....traffic, noise, and people that have nothing in their minds but GETTING some place, beyond that, no one home ! Country Boy here ! *R*

Roger, cobber..., it is bloody difficult to keep up with all your images...

Rather bright and alive would most certainly be my feeling about this one. Why would I not want to catch the Photoshop disease? I could sex up my images to no end with techniques like these!

Because mate, I like your images like they are, you can spend a lot of time tricking up images, but it takes real talent to go naked into PN as you do (Well, almost) PS.....well, I TEACH this....

Elements anyway....and glad to give you all the pointers you would like......free !

Thanks Roger! I'll respond in full later today. Unfortunately, I have to get back to work. Now there's a four-letter word I don't like...

Off soon to teach this very class, and a Photo Class untill late tonight, so, tomorrow as that four letter word has me in it's grips as well ! (Other four letter words are, food, rent, and beer !)*R*

You're going to teach this technique tonight? Perhaps you should hand out some motion sickness tablets before the session!

It grows on you though, like fungus. In fact the colours are beautiful.

This kind of reminds of the psychedelic hippy posters of the late 60's and early 70's. Well done. Strong composistion and other elements. If I am right you used several layers and croppings to compose this, in combination with coloring techniques.

Some time ago, I had a folder in my portfolio which I entitled "Digital Corruptions"

A number of experimental pics have passed through that one during the last 18 months, or so. In the end, I deleted that folder probably because I'm no good with Photoshop. The attachment with this comment is a variation of what I posted some time ago... It is a simple (boring) hand print in the snow, altered by playing around with the PS curves option...

The feedback that I got wasn't bad at all, but I just did not feel comfortable with something like this in my portfolio. Your creation above is infinitely better than my attempt at sexing up one of my images...

Just a matter of doing several things that work for you, your hand looks like OUTER SPACE stuff, and fun at that.....Do you want to learn some tricks ? *R*

Hey Roger, you must have been on some 'funny'stuff when you did this one, or was your mate Johnny Walker around. I work just a block away from this building, and this is the best view I ever got of it. If the building really looks like that one day it was the taliban or so. Greetings.
