Thanks for comments, I submitted a bw version earlier. What works

best for this shot, color or bw?

This is just stunning. I think I would be sitting here a long time catching all the different light designs and versions that the sun was giving me. Wonderful place, and wonderful shot of it.

Morey, I'll take the color version hands down; there seems to be more depth and texture. In my opinion, the B&W just can't capture the hills in the background and on the left as well as the color rendition. However, I'm biased; I do nothing but color.

It would be a pity to lose such vivid colors. I like your composition and exposure very much. The clouds could have been better, but you can't have everything. It seems you have dust in the clouds (when viewed large). Thanks for posting.

I usually prefer black and white, but this colour one beats your black and white for sure. I think your black and white version could be good, but is maybe presented a little too dark overall.

This is WONDERFUL in color!
