Has the air of quiet lonliness. The left cheek is a little too bright in my opinion.

As Paul mentioned, the left cheek is slightly overexposed. But, that flaw is minor compared to the power of the photo.

 

In addition to the very compelling idea, composition, and lightning, the model's expression seems absolutely genuine. I'm curious to know how you/your model acheived that expression - people feeling that way rare want to be photographed, and it's not an expression easy to conjur artificially.

this is an amazing photo. It looks like it were takin with a webcam, which is to say it has an intimate, florecent feel.
