antonio.giacomo 0 Posted March 18, 2004 I expect that I will get polarised ratings for this - either 1/1 or 7/7. I will not be spending any more money on Adobe software. It is crap, and the PC SDK documentation is even worse. Link to comment
leorossi 0 Posted March 18, 2004 I don't know about hugely overpriced, but I do know about this image being huge. You should have it resized. This way you are disrupting the critique requests expository page. Link to comment
jim_mcbride 1 Posted March 18, 2004 Antonio: why don't you tell us how you REALLY feel? Link to comment
john falkenstine 1 Posted March 18, 2004 I've been using Adobe Products when it was still called ALDUS. While no software package is perfect, and Adobe doesn't appreciate the fact that I bought 25 COPIES OF PAGEMAKER at one time, I still consider the overall quality of their software as quite good. jeff d 1 Posted March 20, 2004 Spend a few bucks and upgrade your PC. They cost about half of what the software runs. Stop whining. Geez. Oh... and this is photo.net, not screenshot.net. Remove this immediately or I send Bill Gates to beat you senseless with an old Windows 95 box. Empty, of course. Link to comment
bacsa 0 Posted March 20, 2004 You think PS is the top with nonsense/stuipid/funny error messages? Check this then. Link to comment
antonio.giacomo 0 Posted March 22, 2004 Hi Jeff, Thanks for the suggestion. However, it is not sensible. If you read the caption, you will realise that I am running the maximum possible Intel configuration. I have five client machines and a server. That should be enough for anyone, but apparently not Adobe. Hence my comment. As a professional programmer, this software is absolute crap, and I stand by that. Link to comment
john falkenstine 1 Posted March 23, 2004 "As a professional programmer, this software is absolute crap, and I stand by that" .....As a non-professional engineer (right now) I can only observe that if you think this is bad...software...you really haven't worked with bad software at all... jeff d 1 Posted March 24, 2004 I missed the meaning of your post the first time. I am a little slow. FYI: I understand that PS eats up a lot of memory when you have multiple images open. Not sure what is causing your memory drain. Perhaps you should raise your concerns in one of the forums where someone may be able to provide an answer for you. Link to comment
