My first attempt at Macro photography. This yellow jacket was very coopertaive- Thank you bug!I scaned this using Minolta-Dual Scan IV. I did sharpen it a little bit using MS Digital Image Suit. I wanted a soft glow when I took the picture neverthelessPlease critique

The softness is OK. but I would prefer it to be sharh, to reveal the detail.

 

Nice shot though.

...I don't remember what was the rating that I gave this photo. After seeing the defensive nasty remarks that you attached to my portfolio...here is my response.

 

This is a well composed shot with pleasing colors...but it is out of focus, noisy, and dirty. Clean your sensor.

Not bad, however I think that the softness in this shot is distracting, the "bug" could be brought in more to reveal the true depth of this shot. Overall Great job, K
