Abstract

Translucent red bowl with two inches of water and shavings from a

metal lathe are lit with a 150W halogen lamp against the outside of

the bowl and fluorescent lamp 15 foot above the prop. Shot with

chrome film processed c-41 and enlarged as a chromogenic print on

Kodak Endura Metallic paper.

Nice artistic work, good creativity and originality.

What is this? its an interesting photo but i cant quite figure what this is.

The San BuenaVentura Artists Union Gallery has a show with the subject Erotica and the challenge was to shoot this theme in my style of abstract photography (see my web-site rivasart.com). The day before the submission deadline I set up this shot and it worked as the jury selected it for the exhibition.

I guess I don't understand this pic, it just confuses me without stirring any emotin
