tony georgiadis 0 Posted March 11, 2004 Well composed, good work, i would give it a touch of contrast.but then, that's only my opinion. Link to comment
walterh 0 Posted March 11, 2004 nice tonal range and good composition. this is pushing the limit of the little camera really to its limits. so after all photographers produce images not cameras? amazing how close one can get to the "real" architectural shot by a 4x5 view camera :-P (well at least to 500x700 pixels). pauli.peura 0 Posted March 13, 2004 Very beautiful tones with light and shadow playing together. Works well this way but I believe a few people walking there would do no harm either. Link to comment
pdoyle 0 Posted March 14, 2004 Fantastic - you had a great eye to see all these curves meeting up here. Link to comment
adam_d._green 0 Posted March 14, 2004 needs a prop of some sort, i think a sword would be perfect. Lent up against the door on the right. Link to comment
eric_rose3 0 Posted March 21, 2004 I like this a lot. Great exposure, nice tonal range. Very natural looking. I will remember this image for years to come, really. Link to comment
matt_pearson 0 Posted June 13, 2004 It's just a little bare on the top left, but it's the starkness of the image that makes it so great. I keep expecting a monk or priest to come walking through one of the archways. Really sharp for what must have been a long exposure. Edit: Nah, I take back what i said about the empty feeling in the top corner. I hadn't looked at it "large" yet-- there is a lot of detail in the wall... Looks terrific. Link to comment
