First a commode on a roof now a check of drawers in a bus... Where do you people find this stuff!!!! LOL

 

Nice image. Little centered for me but tells an interesting story. Might leave a few too many questions unanswered.

 

I am left wondering what a shot outside the bus looking through one of the windows would offer. Might remove the harshness of the lights coming through the windows...

An interesting find PT. I wonder how far this bit of furniture is travelling/has travelled! Looks in quite good shape still though (not so broken)... better than some of my furniture!

 

I don't like the bar in the foreground and tried various crops to eliminate it. I think getting closer would have produced a stronger photo - maybe shooting up from close to the open drawer towards the bus roof, but I guess PT might not have had full access here.

 

I wonder what's in the space left behind by the missing drawer? Looks like a bird's nest!

How in the world did someone get that up there? It does speak "broken" but more than that it screams "weird!" Bummer that the dresser was facing outside the window. I would have liked to seen more seats in the photo. I agree with Dominque's comment about the bar...but I would have preferred a perspective that looked down on the dresser and the seats. Except I don't think that would have been possible without taking out part of the rood.

Definitely strange. Like Melissa indicated... who went to the trouble to get this so far into the bus and why. If it was junk... why go to such effort? I agree the whole thing is a touch too centered. My idea for the shot would be to get up to the roof and shoot parallel to the roof using a lot of roof in the foreground then rotate the whole thing 180 degrees. Just a thought. Oh... and regarding theme fit... maybe it's not the dresser that is broken, but rather the bus.

OK, I'm confessing, this is the "outdoor toilet" PT. You enjoyed that one so much I decided to post this too. And I have more where that came from!

 

This was a total surprise to me when I found it. Melissa's "How in the world did someone get that up there?" was just one of the many thoughts that came to mind.

 

Dominique is right too, the drawers were broken but could have been repaired, much better than the bus. Yes Thomas the bus was broken too.

 

Dave, strangely it wasn't very visible from outside, it was a dark area and the windows that remained were very hazy, its only bright because I overmetered. The seats were in very bad shape and there was splintered glass all over which prevented exprimentation with angles.

 

I have no answers for the weirdness of it all and just to add to that, it was a school bus but not taken at a school, or a dump!

 

I think I just blew my cover, LOL
