jennifercatron 9 Posted March 9, 2004 Most of these squirrel shots are pretty mundane, but you made this yours by the use of what appears to be early morning light and an appropriate backdrop. You still went with centered composition and this lowers the score a little with this particular shot. When you shoot animals it's a tendency to try and get as close as you can, so most people try so hard to get close that they forget to actually compose the shot, but instead just shoot it centered. Don't be afraid to go out on a limb and be further away to get the composition right. The eye of the animal is on the third though so I think this one survives, but just watch it. Link to comment
