Exquisite! I would like to see just a little more room at the edges, not much, but more.

I'm hoping the site admins and Lou's family will leave this image up as a tribute to him - a dear friend .... A place where we can come - and remember - thanks

Lou spoke to me in a dream last night. He said to lighten up - he is ok. He has a margurita glass which never runs dry, all the shrimp he can eat and a little mint on his pillow everynight. He has a digital Hasselblad with one knob on it numbered 1 thru 7 .... he can dial in whatever rating he wants the shot to be. Of course, Lou broke it trying to dial in an 8 ........... but that is just Lou - never satisfied - always striving for higher things. From his vantage point, he can follow the sunset around the world - snapping away . He is happy ... wants us to be happy too . He would prefer a party in his honor - vs. the usual thing.

So, Ken does this mean I am safe from Lou coming back as my dog? that remark of his has a strange sting to it now.

Wow - I forgot about that Knicki - interesting. I was also looking at his comment strings - his last one was to me - on May 4th - exactly 1 month before ....... I didn't realize that till just awhile ago .

...always the light...

You said that Lou and I always loved that about your work, your love of light. You have influenced me in that aspect of my work greatly. I see it, feel it. Thank you.

I sense you now living always in that light.

The Rose is outstanding. looks like an engraving work. Ken W. I didn't know the man, but your words in the dream are a true nice farewell to a friend.

Beauty is eternal, and we are here to capture it...and thus live it. Now and forever.

Pnina - what a special person you are to take the time to stop by and pay your respects to a man you did not know. This is at least the 2nd time I know of that you have extended you hand and your heart to a stranger - how special you are.

This time was Lou. A man of generous soul giving a piece of it to every simple thing he liked. "That's all I can do", he used to say, "only some simple pictures, nothing more". And these simple pictures are living now their own life, each one carrying a sparkle of his soul. You'll be always around, Lou, in a rose, or a Siamese cat, or a glass of red wine; in the beauty of the simple things God and His children created and you gave them soul. May you rest in peace, Lou.
