The Winner, 2004
At its peak, Tombstone was a town of 50,000 people. The most dangerous time to live there was in the early 1880's where the town claimed one person per day, on average, it is quest to find itself and its people. It was along a stage coach route that brought people from the East. Further to the East was Fort Bowie, where Geronimo surrendered. The indians could see the dust of travelers for miles on end in the dry desert.This photo depicts the gun battle as shots are fired. Here a cowboy beats another to a draw.
