steve_son 0 Posted March 8, 2004 Comments/suggestions welcome. The blue in this image is real. I wonder if the extra cyan emulsion in Fuji Reala brought this blue hue out. Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted March 8, 2004 This is an amazing shot. Pardon my ignorance, but what is causing the swirl? Link to comment
steve_son 0 Posted March 8, 2004 This is a very long exposure (4.5 hours). The spin of the earth produces the star tracks. Thanks for the comments. Link to comment
rkn 0 Posted March 8, 2004 Amazing shot! Can you explain more on how you achieved this? Is very interesting! Link to comment
noora saarinen 0 Posted March 9, 2004 Truly beautiful happening. I'm just wondering who was holding the trees, or was there really no blowing in the wind.. Link to comment
steve_son 0 Posted March 9, 2004 It was a very calm night, so no one was holding the trees. I had tried to do this shot several times and there were always clouds, wind, too much moon light, etc. Thanks for the comment! Link to comment

steve_son 0 Posted March 13, 2004 Adam: Thanks for the nice comment. This is by far the longest exposure I've done. To be honest, I went to sleep and woke back up to stop the exposure so I wasn't all that patient. I did look for the perfect evening, but I was camping anyway. Thanks again, -steve Link to comment
