After 5 years of orthopaedic surgical residency, and one year of a hand surgery fellowship, I celebrated by putting to the grave my old 'operating room' shoes!

Part of a series (see the folder). After I finished my formal

orthopaedic training, I felt a need to give my well-worn operating

room shoes a ceremonial burial -- fire first.

:o) it's fun. I've seen other bodyly products lit and burning already, but not the stuff that feet produce:)
