richardlowes 0 Posted March 6, 2004 This photo is perfect. I really get a sense of the interaction between them. Composition, lighting, focus...it's all great. IMHO. Link to comment

thomas_turk 0 Posted March 8, 2004 Thanks for the compliment Joe..I hear Jay Maisel saying, go learn how to take decent fotos, Proff Thom, and not talk so much crap on PN, get Joe give u some tips...but then ..that Joe fella, on PN, he either wants to fight with all the self appointed Professors, or just critique by saying nice shot..wish he wouldnt use just nice..but explain what he means by nice.. Guest Guest Posted March 8, 2004 I think I will start the Proffessor Thom series. I will make you a legend yet. I am kind of dissapointed you really did not comment on the photo. Link to comment
thomas_turk 0 Posted March 8, 2004 Nice shot Joe, I nearly forgot. Sorry, Sir...Good control of depth with neat OOF background, lighting good, giving dimension. Composition strict and clear.. No need for Mr Maisel to be in the shot completely, so that part is fine. No unecassary foreground. Unposed and natural..A good shot Joe, recent??? Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted March 8, 2004 I am currently in the exploratory phase of looking into using another word in addition to nice. The exploratory phase is also known as phase one. In phase two the new words that were chosen will be tested to see if they are actual words. In the final phase, phase three the words that have passed the first two phases will be used on humans in a study, along with a placebo. Then these words will be submitted to you for final approval. This process is similar to when a company like Amgen submits a new drug to the FDA. Link to comment

skip_fockelmann 0 Posted March 9, 2004 Joe, You could use Pleasant, good, polite, or kind. There's probably a lot more but that's all the Word Thesaurus could come up with. However, with careful study of sites such as jaymaisel.com and photos4u.dk I'm sure you could come up with "1000's of stunning substitutes all made with "real" film and perfect composition!
