niranjn 0 Posted March 10, 2004 Graphically wonderful; the elements and colors combine to give a dramatic impact. However, something bothers me. If this was shot in New Jersey, aren't the cars on the wrong side of the road (I presume that the red lights are from the tail lights, so the cars are on the left side of the road going away from the viewer). And the yellow sign is unconvincingly bright. Link to comment
toddlaffler 0 Posted March 10, 2004 I assure you this was taken in NJ, as to why the lights appear on the wrong side of theroad I can't really explain, as I was not really looking at the car as it passed by. Perhaps they were swirving a bit when they saw me on the side of the road? Not sure. It might have something to do with camera angle too? As for the sign, that was how bright it was out of the camera. The reason is it so bright is because at the end of the 4 second exposure I popped my flash off directed at the sign. Since the sign is meant to be so reflective, it bounces a lot of light back to the camera. I'm sure you've seen signs appear to "light up" when your headlights shine on them no? jrickert 2 Posted December 8, 2009 This is beautiful. I love the primary colors, and the time-lapse tail lights. Very original. Be careful, while you take night shots, just off the road. Link to comment
